Are you the health & safety specialist who enjoys a coordinating and organisational role to ensure that everyone can work safely in ‘s Heerenberg, Haps and Venray, and do you use your communication skills to ensure that advice is followed up by both management and employees? In this role, you will ensure occupational safety within our logistics operations and you are the point of contact for a safe and healthy work environment. You improve the safety culture within the organisation, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and provide solicited and unsolicited advice to management to prevent accidents. You will achieve this by:

• translating DSV Health & Safety policy into local procedures and practice;
• stimulating managers and employees through information and training;
• conducting the RI&E and safety rounds;
• performing cause analyses as part of incident investigations;
• setting up and maintaining the FAFS organisation.

You bring

• minimum MBO 4 working and thinking level;
• MVK diploma or NEBOSH certificate (PGS-15 certificate is an advantage); 
• a high degree of independence and you are eager to learn;
• command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
