Move forward as Senior Compliance Manager at DSV in Venlo or Rotterdam
Do you want to work at a leading global logistics company and contribute to the optimisation of our customs and trade compliance processes? Then read on!
You get it done
As a senior compliance manager, you will be part of the customs & trade team, within group sustainability & compliance, which is part of our Danish group management structure. As a team, we ensure that DSV's customs activities continue to comply with both local and international standards. This includes minimising risks, aligning with strategic goals, and efficiently managing related projects.
The team identifies internal process improvements in customs and compliance and is extensively involved in operational projects. You will support commercial processes and play a crucial role in reviews and internal audits. Collaboration is broad (globally) with a range of operational, commercial, and management stakeholders. In short, you’re on it.
How you do this? You will collect and analyse relevant compliance data and translate this into effective processes and system optimisations. You will build strong relationships with other departments and executives, support change management, and strengthen our operations in executing their responsibilities. You will act as a sparring partner and communicative advisor for clients and stakeholders at all levels within our organisation and participate in internal and external audits. You will achieve this by:
- monitoring and ensuring global compliance with DSV's internal customs and export control policies, and relevant regulations and legislation;
- supporting and optimising internal compliance audit programmes and documentation;
- leading and actively contributing to the development of customs and trade compliance-related tools and systems;
- implementing optimised and/or new processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
The team at DSV stands out due to strong collaboration and a continuous focus on improving and monitoring customs and trade regulatory compliance. Although part of the Danish organisation, the majority of the team is based in the Netherlands, currently operating from the Rotterdam and Venlo offices. This is preferably where you will be based, but given our Dutch office network, other options are negotiable. Remote working is also “part of the deal.”
