Job Req Number:  86448
Time Type: Full Time

Are you ready to set the strategic direction of a global leader in transport and logistics?

As our new Strategy Manager, you will help chart the course for DSV's future growth and success. As an instrumental part of the Strategy & Integration team, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our corporate strategy, working closely with executive management to drive progress towards our organic growth and M&A ambitions. You will work to ensure that the strategic direction is set and followed to drive business impact across our three divisions.

Among other things, you will:

  • Continuously review our corporate strategy to ensure strong performance
  • Support strategic initiatives across divisions and group functions and report on progress to executive management and the Board of Directors
  • Facilitate and engage in strategic discussions and workshops with executive management and other key stakeholders
  • Identify gaps and opportunities at enterprise level and communicate recommendations founded in business cases and other data-driven analyses
  • Refine and promote our strategy toolbox and templates to support colleagues throughout the organisation
  • Support post-merger integration work across divisions, countries and group functions when needed

“After a decade of successful M&A, DSV is set to become the world’s largest freight forwarder, and we are reinforcing our strategic platform to support further sustainable growth, fuelled by both acquisitions and organic growth initiatives across the enterprise. As our next Strategy Manager, you will be at the very centre of this journey.” says Vice President, Strategy & Integration, Anne Michelle Hicquet.

An experienced strategist with a flair for people and numbers

We are looking for someone with a well-versed strategy toolbox who readily frames situations, aligns on their complications, poses questions, and develops answers together with key stakeholders. You have a humble approach and collaborate effectively across teams and borders, while taking a hands-on approach. You also want to move the needle for the business by bringing your experience and unique perspective to the table.

Also, we imagine that you have:

  • A relevant university degree within e.g., strategy, finance, business administration, or economics
  • 3-5 years of experience from top-tier management consulting, investment banking, mergers & acquisitions or a strategic role in the logistics industry
  • Experience from transport, logistics and/or supply chain management is a plus but not a requirement
  • Specialized experience and competencies within Operational/Commercial Strategy, Operational/Commercial Excellence, and/or post-merger integration (PMI), is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills, evidenced by a history of fostering robust relationships and driving alignment across diverse teams and organisational levels
  • Project management skills with a structured, proactive and thorough approach to your work
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data-driven insights and PowerPoint for compelling storytelling
  • Fluency in both written and oral English is essential, with proficiency in Danish considered a plus

Are you the right match for our team?

Are you excited about driving strategic excellence and shaping the future of DSV? Then we would love to hear from you!

The role is based in Hedehusene, Denmark. You must hold a Danish work permit at the time of application.

We look forward to receiving your application via the link below. We will process the applications as we receive them.
