The position will ensure service delivery of awarded lanes through the ocean RFQ process. Coordination between country operations and account teams, and escalation if needed through to the respective trade lane management lead are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the account relationship as a primary point of contact for customer, delivering high level of service to customer.
- Support spot quote desk process, filing of new lanes into customer’s procurement portal to ensure business retention and growth.
- Collaborate with the concerned operational account management for 3PL, carrier, business support team (ISSC), other solutions managers, to support the creation of business requirement specifications and develop customer’s ocean carrier requirements.
- Maintain and monitor data quality integrity and milestones between customer, GTN and DSV systems.
- Monitor and report on a weekly basis performance metrics; Report to direct manager on action plan for resolution and areas for country, regional management support.
- Participate in the customer’s business implementations and responsible for end-to-end operations requirements.
- Identify gaps and shortcomings of DSV operational and or systems platforms based on observations, knowledge & customer’s SLA requirements.
- Conduct troubleshoot, gap analysis between systems and operations data quality.
- Prepare root cause analysis; Update training and IOP; Assist to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plan.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives towards the customer.
- Effectively manage timely booking released and manage escalation process.
- Become a part of an account focused cross-functional team that proactively participates in the account planning, business review, sales support & delivery process.
Job Requirements:
- 5 years+ industry experience in freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Ocean freight and buyers consolidation experience is essential.
- Excellent project management skills to support business improvement projects.
- Strong sales supports skills and ability to follow through on leads.
- Good business acumen to analyse financial information and deal with complexity.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, independent and responsible.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Fluency in Cantonese speaking is preferred.
