Group Sustainability & Compliance at DSV is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to optimise our business processes through new or improved IT applications.You will be part of a newly established team working closely with Group Sustainability & Compliance management and key business stakeholders. Group Sustainability & Compliance is crucial for DSV’s future, as these areas are essential for all large corporations today.

Primary Responsibilities:


As a Business Development Manager, you will analyse and optimise business processes by collaborating with stakeholders to improve current and future workflows. You will transform business needs into system requirements, ensuring proposed applications meet organisational goals. Additionally, you will facilitate communication between departments and support cross-functional project teams to drive sustainable growth and compliance.

This includes:

  • Investigating ideas/problems assigned by Group Sustainability & Compliance management
  • Gathering, reviewing, and analysing business and industry processes
  •  Assessing options for process improvement, including business process modelling, and designing future processes
  • Participating in vendor selections to ensure proposed applications meet business needs
  • Transforming business needs into system requirements
  • Identifying and communicating with key stakeholders
  • Liaising between various business departments and groups
  • Driving projects forward, both single-handed and in collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams

 

You will be part of the new Systems & Processes team, which will eventually consist various business stakeholders including System Owners (also known as Product Owners), Process Specialists & Data Analysts. The team will work closely together to enable DSV’s growth and scalability.

 

Required Competencies:

 

You are a person with strong communication and presentation skills. You enjoy working cross-functionally, managing various business stakeholders, and delivering quality products that create business value.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or another relevant field, or equivalent education/experience
  • Experience in business application management is mandatory
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business process and application management
  • Interest and/or experience in sustainability & compliance processes and applications
  • Experience in developing documentation of business processes, requirements, and business cases in non-technical language, clearly articulating benefits
  • Possessing a consultant mindset with a systematic and structured workstyle
  • Excellent change, process and project management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Advanced English communication skills
