Roles & Responsibilities:

The Global Business Development Director will define with internal and external stakeholders, current customers and future clients the Tech- strategy which brings DSV Solutions to be the preferred solutions provider. Together with local / regional management you will implement this strategy including the necessary technology, innovations and operations resulting in successful, strong Technology market segment.

 

You lead the innovation for the Technology vertical and are aware or initiate the breakthrough developments in Technology within DSV Solutions and their (future) customers. You support and  advise  (potentialclients  with  their  supply  chain  strategyYou  also  make  sure  DSV Solutions is prepared to support these organizations with their success in this sector.

 

As Global Business Development Director Technology, you lead or support commercial projects where your expertise is required or where you contribute to the success of the project.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and implement commercial plans and strategies in accordance to the achievement fields described below
  • Always strive to accelerate and encourage company's growth and success
  • Enable collaboration with other commercial and functional teams in a matrix structure to drive a consistent customer experience across DSV

 

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

•   At least Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or similar relevant field, MBA or

     MastersDegree in related field is strongly preferred.

•   Previous working experience in the logistics line for at least 10 years

•   Well versed and knowledgeable in contract negotiation

•   Experience from strategic consulting, and/or business development is an advantage

•   In-depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics

•   Hands on experience in creating reporting and managing budgets

•   Excellent organizational and time-management skills Superior communication skills to effectively communicate complex information, including business case development

•   Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
