About the Position:

The QMS is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Company Quality Management Systems. He/ She is required to provide guidance to the organization and supports the operation process to maintain and continually improve the quality and safety aspects; in line with the organization’s needs to comply with statutory compliance, organizational policies, business/ operational needs, contractual obligations and in accordance with the Quality Management Systems standards.

  • Establish and write company policies and procedures to comply with Country Customs and other governmental agency requirements for import and export activities.
  • Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meets quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Develops quality assurance plans and identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
  • Ensure the import and export activities are monitored and reviewed for accuracy and in compliance with country laws and regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
  • Manage trade operations & compliance activities to align with customs and import laws & regulations, Trade Policy, GTS Governance Team and other service areas.
  • Build programs to identify customs and trade compliance gaps and to develop corrective actions in order to help support compliance with customs and other government agency regulations.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior in support of operations when necessary.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

  • Able to work independent
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate’s with experience in the field.
  • Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Singapore customs regulations and international trade laws.
  • Good MS Office skills particularly in Excel, Words and Power point.
